Frosé (Frozen Rosé) Drink Recipe
Every good party needs a fun, summer drink to accompany it and the Frosé is the perfect addition to sip when it's hot outside. Our choice is a frozen Rosé! This drink is light, refreshing, and best of all pink! We chose this recipe from Bon Appetit to serve at our next summer get together.
Ingredients
1 Bottle Rose of choice
8 Ounce Cut Strawberries
1/2 Cup Sugar
Ice Cubes
2 1/2 Ounces Lemon Juice
Extra Full Strawberries for Garnish
Directions
Pour Rose into a bowl, ice cube tray or pan and freeze for up to 6 hours. We suggest freezing the night before.
While your Rose is freezing boil a 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water in a saucepan for three minutes. Remove from heat and add cut strawberries. Let sit for 30 minutes to infuse the sugar mixture.
Once cool, add 3 ounces of strawberry syrup to your blender. (I like to also include the strawberries from the saucepan) Remove Rose from freezer and add to blender. Add 2 1/2 ounces lemon juice and a handful of ice. Blend until smooth.
